txt message question

Ok I select the pic, select share, messenging.... why can't I type in the name of the contact and the phone find them? On some people it does and most it does not.... Most of the time I have to either enter the number or choose the contact and then attach

I have seen the same thing. It appears to be a bug if you sync your contacts with fb. Only fix I have found is going through your contacts and removing duplicates and any contacts that are just fb contacts.

we have to find an easier way, I have like 80 people on my contact list

I think there is a setting that you can turn on and of, where it shows just cell phone contacts. Which SMS app are you using

it seems the only ones being affected is the ones I imported from the crackberry....

I just looked again, there is a setting for just cell phones to show up. Even with that turned off I still don't get email addresses to show in SMS programs.
