Two questions?

I am having problems linking up to my home DSL? It just says obtaining IP addresses but never says I am connected? Can someone help?

Also, A friend showed me how to make the GB online usage bar to show up on my screen but since then I have searched and searched for this, could someone please walk me through on finding this?

Try reseting your modem and rebooting the phone. Make sure that you have the right password if applicable.

For the online usage bar tap and hold an empty area on your homescreen, tap Widgets, then scroll down to Data Usage and tap it.
