Wifi hotspots no longer work?

This morning my wifi hotspot doesn't work. I've tried to methods, the switchPro widget and wifi tether app. They were working yesterday. Now when I try to connect my iPod and a coworkers phone it just says "obtaining IP address, connecting, obtaining IP address, connecting....." and never connects.

Am I the only one this is happening to? Any tips? Yes, I am rooted

Try turning off security.

Already tried it encrypted and open. Doesn't work either way

Try changing the AP SSID.

Did that also. No luck.

I talked to the head IT guy who also has a galaxy nexus. He said he has the same problem. He believes there is some block for wifi in the building. He says his works fine away from the office. I will test this theory outside during break time
