Two Launchers (separately) different cache\memory?

I'm running ADW and LauncherPro, I sometimes like to switch between them to keep up to date with them as I really like both of them.

My questions is, if I have one launcher all setup with my widgets and such and switch to the other launcher which also has a lot of widgets and such. Is the other launcher effecting my memory with all of its widgets and settings and such? Or when switching out launchers I completely removed them from memory?

I seem to remember a post saying that if your going to switch to a new launcher and keep the old, to clear all the widgets and icons from the prior launcher to conserve memory or something to that effect.

I searched a bit on the forums for this but it is sort of a difficult subject to look for.

Thanks

If you switch launchers, the one you switch to has to reload right? If it is I don't think it's taking up any memory
