Two face book applications?

I have 2 fb apps. One says fb and the other has fb for HTC sense. I tried to uninstall one but I do not see the option to uninstall either one under manage applications. Should I uninstall one? If so, which one and how? thanks.

I don't believe you can uninstall either one. The main thing to make sure of is that you don't have both setup to auto-sync, or else your battery will be unnecessarily affected. Myself, I have disable sync on both and just use the Facebook for Touch website. Battery life seems to have improved since doing this.

1 facebook is actually the FB app. The other facebok for HTC Sense is what your friend stream uses.

I noticed that the phone comes with a Facebook app, and yet in the app store there is what appears to be an identical app that doesn't say it's already downloaded onto my phone. Is the facebook app in the market different from the one i have or is this just an error?

I noticed this, too. I downloaded the one on the Marketplace and installed it over whatever came preinstalled. Seems identical to me.

Side note: Downloading or reinstalling Facebook did fix an issue with Facebook PMs.

I actually use xScope browser and go the Facebook mobile page....I wasn't fond of either Facebook app.

No it is actually an updated version but i have seen people having tons of problems with it.
