Twitter App

I just downloaded the Twitter application to my phone. I don't see an option - either in the app or in settings / sync - do specify the sync interval. I have Facebook sync every 4 hours; I want to synch Twitter at about the same rate. Is that possible? How often does twitter sync, or is it push? Is there a different application out there that lets you specify sync interval?

I just checked it and I have the option under Setting > then I selected my account and in that menu there was the option.

the Plume Twitter app is the best I've used. If you use a third party Launcher, the scrollable widget is fantastic.
