Twice to Shut Off!

I have a Galaxy Tab 2, and just updated the OS to Android 4.x. Problem: I now have to shut off twice! When I shut off the first time, the system
RESTARTS ITSELF! When I shutoff the second time, it stays shut off! The update was via Samsung, so maybe I should be talking to them?
