turning phone into wifi hot spot

Is there a way can turn this phone into a wifi hot spot with out rooting? and without paying an extra $30 to verizon? I have unlimited data and will be traveling next week to a place without internet and I would like to tether my phone to my laptop.

Download this app from June Fabrics. I use it all the time to tether to my laptop. Works great.
