turn screen off when playing a video through HDMI?

Sometimes it works but when I was using motocast yesterday both the tv and razr screen were playing video. Also when I use the ice stream app it has this problem. Any ideas?

I dont have a solution to your problem, but i do have a question.

I was lucky enough to get the icestream app before it was pulled from the market.
How has it been working for you?
For me, I can get through most of a show/movie...then force close. I have used moboplayer, and mxplayer.

At first, i was able to watch the whole show/movie. but just recently, it started giving me trouble.

Also, you hear any news about this app? why was it pulled from the market?

Sorry I don't know much about the app. I sometimes get an error but many have no issue. I can usually download without any problem (instead of streaming) but it takes much longer than your computer. You can also use the ice films website but you have to use the proceed to megaupload link after you hit the source but then you have to press view on mega video.
