BlackBerrry is offering up all the tools to give developers the best opportunity to make apps that work well with their new flagship device the BlackBerry Priv. Their are a few portions of the BlackBerry OS that will have to be specifically added to apps to make them fully functional on the device. The BlackBerry keyboard for example has built in shortcuts that only work with BlackBerry developed apps.
BlackBerry has released a Priv Emulator so that app developers can simulate the hardware keys on the Priv. This will allow them to incorporate BB keyboard shortcuts into their apps if they so choose. If you want to try out the emulator for yourself just head to the link in the description!
