Reflash whichever MIUI you are running, no wipe. It will reset any mods.

I just turned animations off under settings/display, easier then flashing the rom again.

What is the install process? I downloaded, put on root of SD card and then tried to flash the transition.zip file. Install not successful. Where did I go wrong?

You have to extract the three mods from the transition zip. Like the OP says. Then pick one and flash it.

It doesn't remove it, but it does turn it off.

updated op with a revert-to-stock-transitions zip, just flash that and to get rid of the custom transitions.
