I have to do a battery pull every time I restart the phone to load this rom. I made a backup before I did this. Is there a way To fix the battery pull every time to load this rom. if not I go back to my backup.

Has anyone heard anything about how to fix the contacts app immediately closing?

I did this but am wondering if I can still pull the Ota for tomorrow . Otherwise I will restore back to my last backup.

I tried it and it boot looped mine. Then before I read not to sbf it I did. So now I have a nice brick.

I had the first 2.2 leak. Here's how I got to Tranquility 2.3.3:

1. sbf to stock 2.1 and format/wipe
2. root stock 2.1
3. update to 2.2 leak, verify root OK
4. update to 2.3.13 dodexed, verify root OK
(had boot loop problems, but a battery pull let me get one good boot in. reboot after battery pull will boot loop until battery pulled again.)
5. installed and donated for "Droid X Bootstrap" and installed "ROM Manager"
6. run "Droid X Bootstrap", click "Bootstrap recovery" (don't reboot)
7. run "ROM Manager" and click "install ROM from SD card". Select Tranqulity 2.3.3 zipfile. X will reboot and install
8. WAIT....WAIT MORE....DID YOU WAIT? Tranquility 2.3.3 booted after about 5 minutes looking a pretty boot logo.
9. Re-installed Vvm.apk from 2.2 deodexed file.
10. run "ROM manager" to install calendar patch similar to step #7.
