So this afternoon I was trying to pull down my notification bar on my DInc but couldn't. I figured it was just a UI hang up and restarted my phone. Still didn't work. Then I noticed in landscape, it worked. Upon further testing (touch screen test app, scrolling, etc) I've determined the top quarter inch of my touch screen (about the height of the notification bar) doesn't work.
Anyone else ever experience something like this? I plan on doing a factory reset but unfortunately I'm thinking this is a hardware issue and is going to need to be replaced. Kind of odd that it would just start happening out of the blue though. My phone was a refurb to begin with (and thank god this happened now, my 90 day warranty ends next week) so I suppose this could be just another example of the quality refurbishing process...
