Tidying up after browsing through apps

I was browsing through my different apps a few days ago and must have inadvertently touched something which brought up a window showing the apps in thumbnail size and I was able to turn them off. Problem is I don't know what I did and haven't managed to do it again. Any idea's! Thought this feature was great as it may help preserve battery life? [emoji53]

Turing apps off isn't always a great idea and frequently does little for battery saving. The best solution is to figure out what apps are refreshing and syncing frequently and stop or reduce that activity app by app. Check at of the stock widgets first.

Ok many thanks will try. What's a stock widget? Derrr sorry a bit dumb.

Did you hit your recents button.. That would display your apps currently in use..
