Thoughts and prayers for the families of the Paris attack. The DF community has grown beyond the borders of the United States as we have members and staff that live overseas.

The news reports here did not identify who or what group may be responsible. Did the US reports give any detail?

This all sucks. A world united in peace and the pursuit of knowledge will never become our future when hatred and bigotry prevails. I guess Roddenbury had it wrong.

My daughter and son in law chose this particular weekend to take a trip to Paris ... Thank God they are both alright. Chocked of course, but unharmed!

Another instance of politicians fighting the war that could have been ended by the warriors w/o the political intrusion.
This one unfortunately will most likely have the same conclusion...

There were attacks in other places too..like Beirut and a couple of other places..none have gotten the media attention that Paris has gotten..idk the severity or "success"of the attacks...but i do know Paris wasn't alone in being attacked..
