This phone is sick! I can't put it down.

I am sitting on my zero gravity chair, listening to my SONOS controlled with the Android app., playing Pandora, on my Denon Receiver, controlled with the Android app., with the TV on in the background for visual entertainment, being controlled with the Android app. for the Verizon FIOS DVR, while my wife is searching on Craigslist at the computer and when she wants me to see something I pull up the Craigslist app., and in between I am on the DroidForum with the custom app., all on WIFI, and the phone isn't even blinking!

I also have 16 custom apps. running in the background, and 13 stock apps. also running at once. I haven't seen one hiccup or lash in either the phone or the web access. Damn, I'm loving this phone!

I have the choice of picking the Razr or Rezound or the Bionic. Any thoughts of what I should select? My Charge would not take the upgrade so Verizon is letting me upgrade early. I would greatly appreciate some input. Thanks.

I know the RAZR beats the pants off the Bionic. As for the Resound, it may be a personal preference, as they are very close in performance, with the RAZR having an edge in some respects, whereas they are quite different with regard to the display. The Resound has a higher resolution LCD display, versus the Super AMOLED display on the RAZR, better front camera (2MP versus 1.3MP, but how good does it need to be?), the RAZR has a dual-core 1.2GHz processor clocked at 1.2GHz, the Resound has a 1.5GHz dual-core processor under-clocked at 1.2GHz, and there are some other differences, but the RAZR blows away the Resound in size and sexiness. It also has Gorilla Glass, the Resound doesn't. The RAZR has a Stainless Steel internal frame and Kevlar back, along with water resistant coating inside and out, the Resound doesn't. I am sure this phone will be a benchmark by which others will be judged for a long time, especially since it's so unique with its design, thin profile, and durability enhancements.

I'd say go RAZR. It has the better hardware (speaking of the physical phone, here, though I also think the processor is better overall) and the better screen. The Rezound's screen is higher resolution, but you can't tell at normal usage distances (you literally have to be a couple of inches away to tell the difference), but the RAZR's screen has much nicer colours and contrast (go compare them side by side; don't listen to tech blogs). It's also hard to beat the form-factor on the RAZR. If you're going to live with the device for 1-2 years, you might as well be stoked on how it looks, right? The RAZR has that "cool factor;" reminds me of my old Sony DSC-f717. Just as good as the comparable Nikon/Canon for the time, but way cooler form factor. I know that's not a pragmatic facet, but it does increase your enjoyment of ownership, so it ought not be completely discounted.
