Thinking of larger mem card

Both Samsung and Lexar sell 128gb memory cards. Does anyone know if one is better than they other? It seems the Lexar has a transfer rate up to 95 mb/s read speed and the Samsung card is 48 mb/s.

Does the S5 support 128gb cards? I've been using the same 32Gb SanDisk that came with my Thunderbolt back when I got it 4 years ago. Never had an issue with it but I am thinking of going to a 64Gb card for my note 4.

I think I recall Samsung having a bad run with their cards for a while but I think they got it solved. I would read reviews on both at multiple sites and see. My personal opinion is anything mass produced like that you are bound to have a few here and there with issues there's just no way to avoid it.

The read speed even at 48mb/s is incredible so I wouldn't worry to much about that.

Check the "Class" of the card as well. Higher class number=higher read/write speeds. It's totally my own opinion and not based on any facts or figures whatsoever, but I tend to think they're all pretty interchangeable until you start spending a LOT more for some of the higher quality cards. I've always bought whatever was on sale though and haven't had too many issues with many of the brands out there. I have a preference for Sandisk, but again, don't think they're much different between brands.

Just got it today and mounted it. No problems yet. This thing is really tiny.
