There is no way they call this 1080p

I just recorded a video of my daughter dancing with my RZR.....Im watching it on a 1080p display monitor and it is so grainy and poor that it couldnt be that resolutino, let alone HD.

Anyone else notice this or have a fix?

Video quality is so dependent on many factors. I can easily churn out crappy HD video with my Canon 7D if I'm sloppy. Getting good video out of a lesser camera and in the razr's case, much lesser, takes some effort.

Unless you are shooting outdoors in daylight,I would adjust expectations to the low side.

Some folks have mentioned better results at 720p since it shots at a higher frame rate and is more fluid.

My first guess is you took the video indoors, probably in what could be considered low-light. Based on the small size of the sensor the only way to get really excellent resolution with minimal noise is to have plenty of light (e.g. shooting outdoors).

Its like megapixels, just because it has high megapixels, it doesn't mean its going to be good quality. Just because it has pixels doesn't mean its going to come out nice! :biggrin:

make sure your ld flash is on when recording inside other wise your vid will look like sheets
