The cube has me

Hello,
I installed rubiX Focused 1.0 via RomManger and now I am stuck at the Rubix splash screen.
I have pulled the battery a few times but it still only boots to the cube.

I am on a Droidx with 2.2 OTA version.
I was over clocked to 135 with JRummy's OC app.

Do I need to boot into ClockModWork recovery and choose to reintall rubiX Focused 1.0?

IF so how do I get into recovery form here?

Did you install the boot strapper? its in the market for $2. If you cant get into rec/boot strap you may be in trouble. If you followed the directions on the first page of the rom you should not have had any issues. Try to clear cache

Yes it was installed and I first enabled it then I downloaded rubiX Focused 1.0 and went to install form within RomManager.

I am stuck at the splash screen and the M screen. Im looped...
What can I do from here?

Can you still get into the bootstrap rec? Pull the battery and turn the phone on, it should load the bootstrap, if it does just install the ROM from the zip or try clearing the cache. If you cant get into the bootstrap and a battery pull doesn't get you passed the boot loop, you'll have to SBF to 2.2 and start over. Make sure you find the new sbf, not the 2.1 sbf. Good luck!

How do I get into recovery?

Its not just the power button?
I tried just the power and it just took me to the Rubix Cube splash screen

Pull the battery, wait a min, put it back in and power it on. It should load the bootstrap recovery. Its green menu text. If it skips past that, you might be sol. You could try to get into the stock recovery (turn off the phone, hold down the home key and press the power button, keep the home key pressed in until you see an ! pop up. Then release the home key and press the search key to enter the console. From there you can clear cache, try that and reboot.

OK so i got into the systems recovery (not bootstrap or clockmodwork).
I wiped and chose factory reset.

It now is reinstalling my personal data.

SO I guess I will do a restore form Titanium and try this again.
What could have happened?
Also is rubiX Focused 1.0 available as a update.zip file?

Great theme and for a suggestion if its not all ready in the works would be to have the green in the dialer (number pad and background) be the color of the theme version.

^ Thats the plan actually, I didnt want to create a full theme until the Rom is Final, but it seems stable as a rock and everything seems to work (except for compass calibration and battery manager)

Im going to keep working on it in my down time, hopefully in the next week or so Ill have a full theme complete

Those themes look great! I'm probably going to finally put on my big boy pants and move up from .5 to 1.0 this weekend. A lack of themes was a big part of the stall for me. I know you're doing way more than necessary for the community pushing these themes out and it looks like you've gone above and beyond with the additional color options. If it's not too much to ask I'd kill for a black and gray theme. I really like a subtle theme without a lot of flashy color work; so black, gray's, and transparency are always at the top of my list.

A gray accent would be dope! The only thing that I can think would make it look better would be a transparent pull down where the notifications have a black background and white or great lettering.

I really wish I had the ability to contribute to the community in visually and technically in the same vain as you, Drod, Stephtin and the like. I'm insanely jealous of your talents.

I'm going to throw together a red variant today since Ive had a few requests for it, I don't see why I couldn't make a grey version as well. Let me mess around and see what I come up with.

can i install this over Apex RC2?

Honestly, Im not sure, never ran Apex, but if it shares any of the framework/services with Focused/Fission then it could work. Do a backup and try it, let me know how it works.

You must have forgotten to wipe data and cache along with backup.

careful changing LCD Density with Focused or Fission. Lots of reports of lockups, reboots, etc. when changing...
