The USB Connection is not showing up with the "Mount Disk Drive" icon on the top..

I have been downloading music onto my HTC Thunderbolt and until now I have been able to upload that music onto my desktop and put it on CD's so I can play it in my car. Now, everytime I hook my phone up to the PC, I have a message about some bootstrap and when I allow it, I get redirected to the Verizon Wireless homepage where they charge you $2.99 for media and I'm not doing that. I am wondering if there is a way to manually mount my phone to my computer as a disk drive and put my music on the computer for play and downloading. Please Help.

I know that my TB shows a list of actions to take when I connect it to my laptop's USB. One option is disk drive. I opted to have my TB ask me for the action every time I connect. Hope this helps somewhat.
