The droid is a gift and a curse

I have reached a point where i can only really do more tweaking if I start making my own apps.. which seems to be dramatically more complicated. everything else I have run into is fairly mundane and easy from the end-user perspective
i attempted to look into making a live wallpaper.. seems like you need to write an entire animation engine in java!! jeez lol. unless i can piggyback onto someone elses code as a learning example, it may be easier to start with a more basic application
still though.. kickass phone. by far the best piece of equipment I have purchased. I can only wonder what 2-3 generations of android handsets down the road have in store
