[ROM] The CM7 Gingerbread ROM (CM4D2-GB) is now ready for prime time!

The bootloader only SBF file name is: BL_D235_cdma_droid2_Consumer_replacer_HSPart.zip...might be worthwhile doing a little google dance on that.

Hey Havens, can you post an alternative link (dropbox maybe) for the new rsd? The link you posted isn't working for me. I can only dl 12kb and then it says "completed".

I didn't even realize there was a 5.3. Either way, anything down to about 4.8 will work fine for the D2.

4.9 didn't recognize my phone on Windows 7, and a lot of other people had the same issue with Windows 7. For a while I had to sbf from an XP VM. 5.3 works fine though.

No luck on the bootloader sbf file. All of my Google searches come up with files that have been removed.

I'm kinda mad at myself, because I KNOW that I had the D2.35 sbf file on my home computer at one point, but I'm 99% sure I deleted it because it turned out I didn't need it. Just checked my phone, and all that's on there is the 2.3.20 sbf file. I'll look for it tonight, but I'm pretty sure it would have been in my "Android\D2 sbf" folder and it's not there now. :(

I may have it on my XP VM though... I'll check it tonight.

I did find the
BL_D235_cdma_droid2_Consumer_replacer_HSPart.zip
after countless hours of google fishing.

Sad news, Still no luck. It flashed fine but its doing the same thing Bootloader 2.37 was doing.
As I'm reading through posts about this issue I keen coming across the term "liquid damage". I have a feeling it does not refer to water.

Flashed the GBD2 Monster leak ... now I have no call sound earpiece or speakerphone.

I'm at work ... so I can't even download CMD2GB or flash and force a clean to see if it fixes it.

...tempted to SBF back to Froyo Stock and wait out the mythical OTA.

You need to reboot to fix the volume issue.

I'm still thinking it's a hardware issue. If it goes directly into the bootloader without you pressing anything, that makes me think that it's thinking that the up button is being pressed on the KB. I would take it into Verizon and have them look at it. Since it has been sbf'd they can't tell that you modded it at all.

EDIT: Any idea where you found that bootloader sbf file? If not, can you host it somewhere?

Can you post where you found the file for others?

Havens1515 may have a good idea...since you SBF'd to Froyo (and that process appears to complete normally, just reboot is hosed) you could take it in and ask for some help.

You could also dork w/the volume key before booting up to see if that helps...
