Wow! I just benchmarked my phone with antutu(running cm7gb). I am #3 and #4 in rankings for the droid 2. 3385 and 3423! Before, running on stock GB I was in the 2300's, With Apex I was in the 2800's.

3136 on quadrant....I dont know if thats good or not though....

That's really cool and I don't ever really get those scores...I'm not really into the whole benchmark thing either at all but for a speed check once in a while..however, your numbers are frickin nice bro! Lol I can say, I tried a quadrant,which is all I really use for my purpose, and I only got like low 2000's but my speed is definately quick! Cool and thanks for the awesome number!

You should have an app in the drawer called USB mode: Portal and Tools is the equivalent of PC Mode.

Just realized the link to the free D2 Bootstrapper download I posted in the OP in this thread takes you to a page where the download link fails...I'll have to see if I can find out if Koush is still offering the D2 Bootstrap app as a free download.

I'd suggest you buy the TBH app (Team Black Hat app) and use the rooted GB zip they offer - you can flash it from CW Recovery to update your phone to rooted GB.

Any other SBF you find is going to be the same file at the site you already tried, so downloading it from another location isn't going to help. I assume you checked the MD5 and it was OK.

this is the way to go, well worth the money it took me about 25 minutes to go from cm7 froyo to cm7gb, super simple and a lot easier than a regular sbf.

Yeah, im not really either. I just wanted to test them separately to see the speed of the roms im flashing and the hacks/mods im doing.
Right now I have the following running for performance: CM7GB, V6 supercharger(opt 9), Jakebitesmod, and Android overclocker @1.3ULV. Once I put all 4 of them together....My droid started singing!
Speed test for internet is averaging around 900kbps(1.3mbps highest) downloading, and 600 average (940kbps highest) uploading with full bars. It used to be around 3-400 kbps down and 200 up.
Soooo....one of them mods/rom tweaked the 3G nicely! That made me happy! now surfing the net is no longer painful! dancedroid

After the 2 short weeks of playing with me phone(learning, rooting and ROMing). I am FINALLY happy with my droid 2!!!!!!!! I used to hate my phone soooooooooooooooooooooo muuuuuch!
So this forum and forum members have made my life just a little better then what it used to be! I thank you for that everyone!!

I don't think I'm doing it right...lol, I hit the scripte editor, then run as root, hit 0, then hit 9, then 17 to exit..really don't know..I think I'm missing the part where I click back and find the file I want, but can't find it?

Yep, you have to find the 99supercharger.sh
Its in the /data file(not on the SD card but you click back 3 times and you will see it along with acct and cache...ect...),the file is near the bottom. Once you find it, "click it" run it as root and run it at boot and then save. then restart.

If you click on the data file and it says forbidden, then you go into the script managers setting, click more,advanced options, config, put a check in the box "browse as root"

I flashed over to this ROM from lgb 0.9 and thought it was great except one hitch, I could not get it to let me add any accounts. I flashed and wiped 3 times before giving up. I never even got the setup screen I usually get after wiping/factory resetting.
