ive loaded, and uninstalled, reloaded, every driver I can find reference to in the orignal post of this thread. --ad nauseum... something isn't right. I get into bootloader and it looks like I am connected to USB, but then windows pops up saying it needs to install drivers ( drivers I thought i installed already, but it can't find). "s flash omap3630 mi failed". Been googlin the hell out of that and I keep finding references to DroidX, but not really the same scenario as me because most are referring to problems during flashing, I can't even get to that point because the phone isn't recognized in RSD... Anyone have any ideas?Make sure your drivers are up to date. Also, is the phone in bootloader when you plug it in? Rsd won't see the phone otherwise. It's probably something small like that

Thanks for all the suggestions. I found another solution, which might help someone else having the same problem- so here goes. I found this thread -- http://www.droidforums.net/forum/droid-2-hacks/161849-tool-ezsbf.htmlThat's what has worked for me (trying another pc).

I wanted to get some results up here. I am running CM4GB on my D2, as well as Jakebitesmods and V6 Supercharger. The CPU is overclocked at 1.3GHz.

Now I don't know how much I like Quadrant for benchmarking...but this is hard to ignore! Not to mention the anecdotal battery life is...unmatched.
Got a weird problem. Sometimes when I unlock my phone there is no lock screen it just shows my home screen but the phone is frozen and I have to pull the battery. Any ideas.

Still can't flash any of revs unofficial updates. CWR aborts with a bad file error every time except flashing the 8/28 file. All files I got from rootzwiki
