Make sure your drivers are up to date. Also, is the phone in bootloader when you plug it in? Rsd won't see the phone otherwise. It's probably something small like that

ive loaded, and uninstalled, reloaded, every driver I can find reference to in the orignal post of this thread. --ad nauseum... something isn't right. I get into bootloader and it looks like I am connected to USB, but then windows pops up saying it needs to install drivers ( drivers I thought i installed already, but it can't find). "s flash omap3630 mi failed". Been googlin the hell out of that and I keep finding references to DroidX, but not really the same scenario as me because most are referring to problems during flashing, I can't even get to that point because the phone isn't recognized in RSD... Anyone have any ideas?
To refresh my previous post -- i am on D2, rooted, with Cyan 7.1. Trying to SBF back so I can upgrade to new Cyan.

Go SBF free...

Purchase the Team Black Hat app. It comes w/an "SBF ZIP" that you can flash from CW Recovery to get to stock 2.3.20.

Then you can flash the GB OTA and go from there...

You will need USB connectivity for the One Click root, however, so if you can't even get basic USB connectivity (charge mode) then you'll still be stuck...

Alternatively, you can find another computer to load the moto drivers and RSD Lite on to do the flashing. But at some point, obviously, you need to figure out why you can't get things to work on your computer. Haven't seen your other posts but I assume you've done the uninstall/reinstall dance w/the moto drivers, etc.

I wanted to get some results up here. I am running CM4GB on my D2, as well as Jakebitesmods and V6 Supercharger. The CPU is overclocked at 1.3GHz.

Now I don't know how much I like Quadrant for benchmarking...but this is hard to ignore! Not to mention the anecdotal battery life is...unmatched.

This worked great. Basically you create a boot disk, the disk contains everything you need, EVERYTHING, to SBFing back to froyo. Now I am on the OTA gingerbread, going to play with this for a few days, then try out the new Cyan.

You can probably score higher if you do it a few times in a row. I did a 3198 on the froyo CM with jrummy overclock on hv 1.3. Best I.got on GB CM was in the 2600's clocked at 1.2. CM rocks!!!

Edit: it was 3152 and on SS D2 (built from Cm)

Still can't flash any of revs unofficial updates. CWR aborts with a bad file error every time except flashing the 8/28 file. All files I got from rootzwiki

Got a weird problem. Sometimes when I unlock my phone there is no lock screen it just shows my home screen but the phone is frozen and I have to pull the battery. Any ideas.

Did this just start randomly happening or is it the result.of a recent flash? I had problems waking up on the interactiveX governor so I switched back to OnDemand

Well it happend when I was on the GB leak but I sbfed and got on the OTA today and it still happend. Its random and I wasn't running any of jakebites mods.

No clue..hopefully someone else can chime in. Only thing I can think of (assuming you wiped properly) is lock home in memory

Check MD5 on the files, you might need to download the dikes again.
