I tried Rev's 10/1 version and having terribly poor battery life, no other issues. I've considered myself lucky so far with the latest nightlies. No camera issues or many FCs, and battery life has been fairly good, until today. I have noticed battery life being less lately and trying to decide which nightly to go back to. Which version seemed to have the best life? I'm also running Jakesmod v11 with undervolt 1.0.

Awesome! You wipe data often?

Here is what I do EVERYTIME I'm updating. Never any problems either.

1. Download the nightly to phone
2. Reboot CWM
3. Mount system
4. Wipe cache partition
5. Wipe Dalvik Cache
6. Install nightly via zip
7. Install jakesmod
8. reboot

I only wide data when going between different roms. For nightlies it's not needed.

So my battery life drained faster than I've ever seen it with the 10/1 nightly. I've seen others going back to 9/21 so I guess I'll do that one.

Does this process work for other roms as well ? Like if I wanted to switch roms?

Sounds the way I have been doing it...Probably just a device thing..I haven't changed my ways in over a year and a half...So its probably just an app or something causing my camera to crash...

Nis reported that he thinks he knows what the problem is w/the camera, and is looking at logs a few of us provided so he can send information to the person who put in the camera changes that broke things...hopefully that will work out and we'll have a fix soon.

Update on my horrid battery life with the 10/1 nightly. My battery life drained from 50% to 15% in about 3 hours of no use. I checked the battery stats and only the standard apps were being used. I plugged it up and downloaded Rev's 9/21 nightly. I was at 20% when I booted CWM and installed it and Jakes v9. As soon as I boot it up, the battery was back to 50%. I read another post of something similar but I couldn't find it. So today, under 9/21, my battery life has been great. 9 hours since disconnecting from the charger and I'm at 70%. I've only used it a few times to check email/facebook. I think I'm sticking with this one for now. Oh, and I've not had any issues with the camera.
