I know I can zoom with the camera using the volume keys, but are there plans to fix the on-screen zoom? If so, do we have an ETA for that? Also, I'm not sure if Juice Defender settings are responsible for this, but since this morning whenever I am on wifi and my screen cuts off, whenever I cut it back on, I have to manually turn the wifi back on. I've never had to do this before and wanted to know what I need to change so that I don't have to manually turn on my phone's wifi every single time.

AFAIK, we (aka Rev, our Dev) don't really control that, it has to come from the CM7 code. So it depends on if/when they deal w/it. I haven't checked to see if this affects other Moto or non-Moto devices running CM7...

And a new version may not even affect someone's use of V6, depending on which options they are using on their phone.

I know at the moment what CM4D2 version I'm on (09-18) but what if I forget? How do I identify which nightly my phone is running?
what i do is go to file manager and look where it downloaded to and look for the newest date....im very forgetful as well....its also best to flash it just as soon as you download it so ya dont forget and waste time downloading it again.

is anyone else having netflix issues? for some reason my netflix audio is fine. however my picture is like playing an 8-bit videogame and very slow i.e. wont keep up with the words being spoken. would being overclocked have something to do with this?

Possible that the CPU is struggling w/the load while overclocked...I watched Netflix today w/the 9/17 build at 1Ghz undervolted over 3G w/out issues.

The new V6 Supercharger beta (v9, beta 6) actually has some interesting new stuff, including an automatically generated settings recommendation...it recommended this new setting:

9. 1000HP Super UnLedded{6,12,200,225,250,300}

He's also changed some of how things function, how settings are stored/enabled, and has some additional compatibility checking on launch of the script.

SBF Fails

Does CM7 change the drivers to the phone? I can't seem to get a clean connection between my phone and RSD.

The phone appears on RSD, I click Start, but then it doesn't put the phone in Bootloader. I tried rebooting into bootloader to help RSD but that didn't work.

...I'm sure I'm missing something, so hopefully someone can help me out.

Don't you need to boot the phone into bootloader mode before using RSD? If you haven't done so before, there are 2 ways to boot into the bootloader:

1) from CM7, hold the power button, select reboot, select bootloader
2) turn the phone off, and while turning it back on hold the up button on the keyboard (the one pointing toward the screen)

Once you are booted into the bootloader, then connect the phone to your PC and see if RSD sees it. Also, you may want to have the latest version of RSD. The latest version that I know of is in my sig.

Just:

Download the script from the link I gave.
Install Script Manager from the market if you don't have it.
Open Script Manager and open the script.
Select "Run as Root" button in script manager when you launch the script
Use the menu in the script to make your selections

Easy-peasy.

CM7 doesn't change anything that would affect RSD Lite - that's moto drivers and GB bootloader.

As Havens says, you need to put the phone in bootloader mode - turn on while holding volume buttons, when the screen backlight changes slightly release volume buttons and you'll be in bootloader mode...
