text notification

im on my 5th droid 3. sometimes when i receive a text it will not vibrate or make whatever sound i set or sometimes either one.most of the time the green light will blink.really getting tired of this. i had about 5 droid 2 before this. anybody have any ideas. thanks

The S3 has an issue that if you have the messages set to automatically delete it keeps the ringtone from playing in it's entirety.... and it doesn't affect all users just some.... Could be the same thing there but on a more wide spread issue...
