This may have been addressed before, but, what does the message mean that you get sometimes that says the message was sent as plain text because the receiver does not support enhanced messaging? It was sent to a Pre Plus.
I think it basically means that if you send like some image (smiley, etc) included on your phone to someone who doesn't have the same phone or from the same carrier, they wont see that, they'll just see the text.
Atleast that's what I always thought, but someone correct me if I'm wrong.
