Text message trouble.

Okay, so I'm pretty angry. I JUST got my Droid 2 yesterday and it was working great when I activated it. But, now I can recive text messages but I can't send them. It says that it's sent but the person does not recieve them. What's going on?!:'(

Did you try dialing *228 then option 2? This will program your phones roaming capabilities and usually helps with signal issues. This might be the case as to why your texts aren't actually going out. Are you using the stock text app, or one downloaded off the market?

I have done that. And, it still doesn't work. And, its the stock app. Should I download another? :/

Its worth a shot.. try downloading handcent, its MUCH better the the stock app anyway.. see if that helps...

[Droid DOES!!]

Handcent is a different app but uses the same signal to send/receive messages so its unlikely it will resolve the issue. The issue is with your phone and service. Option 1 would be better on the *228 call because it will reprogram your phone.
