Text Message/SMS Cannot Copy and Paste

I apologize if there is another thread. I looked around and could not find one similar.

Anyways, on my old Moto Droid I could do a long press on a previous SMS to copy and paste it. Lets say I want to send the same thing back to the sender.

On the Incredible, I can only do a long press to forward the message (then I can copy and paste).

Any way around this??
