Tethering problem

Trying to use my phone apps to tether.
Apps using Z4root and Barnacle wifi tether

But my laptop will not connect to the network.

Error message says---
Investigate router or access point issues

Welcome! Sorry you are having issues. I have a rooted Droid and I use the Wireless Tether app to connect to my Mac Book Pro without issues. Z4 may not have allowed the proper connection. Are you able to increase the cpu speed? If so, try wireless tether and see if that may work. Keep us posted.

Use the Wireless Tether for Root Users app. It was pulled from the market but you can find it using Google.

Do you have the Superuser app? If not, you aren't rooted.
