Hello Droid Forum,
I need to get some questions answered concerning my phones email. I have double notifications. The second part is concerning droid razr's Smart Actions, will more than one if the same action conflict. Is there a way to determine if apps are conflicting?

Welcome aboard!

For your double notifications - are you getting notifications for the stock SMS app as well as a 3rd party app such as Go (example)...if so, you need to open up the app you don't want to receive notifications on and then go into settings and uncheck the notification selection.

For the Smart Actions question - you can use this forum Motorola Smart Actions Developer Team or this one Droid RAZR Forum (then pick support depending on your phone model)...

Good luck!

Double notification

Thank you Smalltowngirl,
For the quick response, I believe that I have Email and Gmail notifying at same time. The email has both my gmail and Hotmail posting the other is just Gmail. What is the best way and un-intrusive way to execute this "kill"? P.S. I used to live in KC when I first came to the us years ago. Thank you for the help and links.

Any reason you have your gmail setup through the app and the email app? I would just remove the account from email or uninstall the gmail app, whichever you prefer.

The G and the Email

Thank you for the reply
It was set up by the counter person when I purchased the phone; I am now just getting frustrated with both notifications I think I would prefer the single notification from email of both accounts. I am not 100% on how to do this without interrupting something.
Thanks for the quick reply

I believe that the gmail app was factory installed. Would out just be better to use that app as a stand alone and the corporate email for others?

You can certainly use the email app or the gmail app. If you would prefer to have both emails operating under one app then just go into the gmail app and disable notifications from within the settings menu.
