TB SMS Popup Messages

I have a TB that stop using most 3rd party sms popup applcaitions. It's very odd but I have tried couple and with the application enable the app doesn't work correctly. The only one i can get to work is handcent. Now the kicker part is I can get the 3rd party apps to work with calendar and miss calls. Has any else had these issue?

Issue resolved

handcent: handcent settings->application settings->default message settingsto "disable"
change the option to "disable"

Amazing how have issues this fixed on my phone.
