The latest OFFICIAL system version is .211. There is a .215 leaked system version out that reportedly improves battery life, but it is not an OFFICIAL system version.

I've read through a bunch on the 215 leak for the RAZR, but cannot really find out what else the 215 version REALLY does? Some say the battery life improved, others say it's the same, or worse.

What other changes are there, who knows?

I hope Jelly Bean will come soon from Moto/Verizon, but who knows. There are a bunch more devices that would probably get it before the regular old RAZR.

Note: I really need help with battery life so I'll probably end up trying the 215, but I'd like to know what else changes, hopefully with pics and videos, because the last "upgrade" to ICS really was something I wish I never let happen! I'd be happier on GB still, not a doubt in my mind.

Go to http://www.droidforums.net/forum/droid-razr-support/217843-mattyps-215-leak-classroom.html and read up on all the update does for you. I am running .215 and would never go back to .211. .215 has been far more stable, issues with connections gone, faster, battery life better, multi-tasking handled better... What more could you want. I still to this day don't know why they didn't roll out .215 as a OTA update. going from .181 Gingerbread to the first OTA .211 was a total bomb for me.

Agreed x3. .215 has kept me content. I was not happy at all with .211.

I don't care if I'm on the OTA path, or not. I can live with this OS version until I get a new device.

as soon as I get a 32GB card in this thing and it's stable, I'll be going to 215 via the classroom instructions. dancedroid

Its really easy to do, you'll be happy you did. It improves a lot of things including battery life and connectivity, and makes things speedier. :)
