its the lastest update from android. it changes gmail and a few other things its really just gettin things in order for gingerbread (2.3) i got mine at 2 a.m. last night

I just received the same update on my Motorola Droid 1 and don't see any difference. The update/changes to Gmail occurred via update through the android market a day or two ago.

What's new on this update to 2.2.1 FRG83D?

there's no major changes just little tweaks getting out phones ready for 2.3.

Android 2.2.1 Froyo [Build FRG83D] for Original Motorola Droid to Roll Out Soon there's a changelog on there
