Sync Calendar won't show up under google account

I have a new droid and under my google account I have options to sync contacts and gmail but not the option to sync my calendar. I added a new account and it shows the calendar option and adding the second account did not trigger the first account to show it's calendar. I should mention that I added the calendar account to google after I had activated and played with the phone. I tried to delete the google account to re-add but the phone said I needed to reset the factory settings to do this and I don't want to do that. How do I get the Calendar Sync option to come back for my account?

memories. i did this when i first got my droid as well. i think the only way to get the calendar to sync, is to do a hard reset and enter the account again.

Never mind, found it. Luckily all I am really losing is my angry bird scores!
