Calendar sync problems

Hi new user here. Just got the droid x today and am having problems with the calendar. I cant use it bc it keeps telling me I have to sync a calendar. I looked under accounts and calendar sync isnt even an option!

I tried my wifes gmail acc and she had the calendar sync
Option. What is going on and how do I fix it?

Ok. got it fixed. Had to restart the whole dang thing but it came up with the calendar sync option this time.

What did you restart? do you do this by pulling the battery? Resetting to factory defaults??
