Swype

I was hoping to know if there is some way to force swype onto my Moto Droid. I'd read about it and I've seen it on friends phones (MyTouch Slide) and I was saddened when I realized that a public beta sign-up had come and gone.

This is my thread post though I've been perusing the site as-needed for around 6 months now.

Too late. the beta version is gone.

Did I miss that there's a paid version available? or is it closed from public for now?

The beta is closed for now. They could always have another. This is at least their second. Word is that either the Droid X or the Droid 2 (I forget which) comes pre-installed with Swype so hopefully they are close to releasing it.

Both have it. And the Samsung Galaxy has it as well.
