Swype issue

I found a small swype issue. I started using swype and actually like it a lot but when I'm texting the double tap doesn't bring up the word correct menu it will just go into select mode and highlight the word I'm trying to change. Has anyone else had this issue or am I doing something wrong

Actually I just noticed something. The word correction menu doesn't come up in portrait mode but if I double tap in landscape it works just fine

I only use swype in portrait mode so definitely sucks that the double tap doesn't work unless in landscape mode. I don't see myself using landscape just for that feature though, just personal preference I guess.

I heard that this is only a beta and the fill release isn't out yet. I'm still using it and love how much faster I can type with it. I don't even look up to make sure the words are right unless the box comes up. For now I just select the word I need to correct and re swype it.
