Switching from Featured Phone (Env3) to the Thunderbolt. Is there an activation fee?

Our contract is up on May 3rd and my girlfriend and I are both going to get Thunderbolts...we both currently have an LG EnV3...will there be an activation fee since were switching to a smartphone? Thanks..

you typically only see an activation fee when activating a new line but like what was stated before your only place to get a solid answer will be from calling customer service or stopping in the store.

If your contract is up on May 3rd, you should already be eligible for an upgrade. There is no cost to upgrade any line to any kind of phone. The only time an "Activation" fee applies is when adding a new line of service.
