Switching from APP to APP

I'm hoping this is a setting somewhere but on my old bionic I could listen to slacker or siruis and then go to my home screen and send a text, email or surf. Now with my MAXX I can not do any of this. Is there a setting to allow you to do multiple app with out killing them.. Everytime I receive a text while listening to music I have to kill the app to reply..

That is abnormal, defiantly shouldn't be doing that.

I listen to music while doing other things often enough that I know that I'm not having the problem you describe.

Do you have a task manager installed??

Also check to see if background data for said apps is disabled

I am running no task manager and no back ground data is restricted.
