Switch 4G off on Android 4.3

I have a Samsung S4 with Verizon and I was using a 4G/ 3G switch app to toggle between 3G and 4G in areas with bad reception

After the upgrade to 4.3, that app has stopped working. Does anyone have any idea how to toggle to 3G alone? The native menu in the phone has always only had option to choose only LTE + CDMA, with no option to choose CDMA alone. However the app I had installed earlier (4G by Viaero) allowed me to choose 3G only.

You might try looking for the app in applications to see if it is still there. I it isn't ypu may have to download it again. Ifvthe app you installed is there see if you can update it.

The app is still there and I already re-downloaded it. The issue is that now the app gets blocked from accessing the internal menus.
