Swapped apps via astro to new phone but doesn't tell me when update is avail?

So I got my new phone last week... backed up all apps on astro and then put them on new phone.. they installed super fast and I was back to my old phone basically in no time.. so thanks for the recommendation .. however now the apps don't tell me when their is an update available in the market... is there a setting or something or does this happen now?

I would like to know when apps have an update..

Astro does not preservce the market links so you won't get any update notifications from the market. Not sure there is a way to fix it aside from uninstalling and re-installing each app from the market. Too late now, but TitaniumBackup (requires root and is not free) does preserve the links.

try using appbrain to see if you can get them to sync.
