I just recently got my droid 2, I was using a envy3 before so im still getting used to this phone. I want to know about some of the must have apps to start me off. There's just so much stuff in the market I don't know where to start.

Welcome to the forums Duece. There are indeed an overwhelming number of apps out there right now. I would recommend you stay away from anything that replaces or tweaks basic functions of the phone until you are a little more settled and familiar with the OS. (Launchers, SMS replacements, Task Killers, One click Roots, etc)

Many great starter FAQs to be found here, specific to your D2 or just for Android in general.

Here are a couple interesting apps to check:

Aldiko Reader
Appbrain
Dropbox (useful for cloud sharing files)
Earthquake Alert! (ya ya...lol)
Flashlight
Rainy Days
Rage Faces
Soundhound (if you like music in any way, shape or fashion grab this one)
Wifi Analyzer

Have fun diggin around !!

:welcome: to the Forum. This question gets asked a lot by new Droid owners. I'll give you one: Screebl.

There is a video that comes with it that shows you how to use it.
