please advise re. keyboard

Good morning to everyone. Before I get started, I need to know how to get rid of the default keyboard that automatically pops up when I key. I would like to use the one for the forum, please advise. I am using full web view, not the mobile view. Thanks so much.

go to settings and language and keyboard and select keyboard you want and then in program long press text box and select which keyboard you want

Thanks. But still confused. Here is what I have done : downloaded "better keyboard" and set it up w preferences, etc. I am now using it. Nice, but still not on thread board, which looks like a windows board?? Please advise at your leisure. Thanks.
