I am new to the droid and the droid forum. I just recently got the droid2 global and I love it so far. I have had some issues with the 3G. Sometimes it goes to 1x and when that happens I can't seem to get on youtube it wants to freeze up on me. I called verizon and they said it could be a defective antenna and that they are sending me another phone. I seen the post where this was happening to others but they said it was no big deal just that the 3G signal was weak and that tends to happen. So now I don't know what to do, if I should just keep my phone or accept the new one ? Any suggestions would be much appreciated

get the new phone and try it and rule out the antenna.....it most likely is a weak signal......

When I first got my D2 my 3G kept going out but it doesn't seem to do it any more

Thanks everyone for getting back to me about the 3G issues. Much appreciated ! I am still trying to figure the phone out and get used to it so some of it could be operator error lol

Ok well now I am getting no service at all. I can't even send a text. There's no 3G signal or not even a 1x there's nothing up there. I am really not understanding this it's not like I live in the boonies. Hopefully the new phone will be here Thursday and it will be better !!
