Stuck right from the get-go......help plz....

so i'm stuck here

"Download the update.zip file from one of the following locations directly from the internet to your phone

whats the best way to get one of the files onto my phone?

after this it all looks fairly simple...

i tried to put the zip file into an email as an attachment and send it to myself but the file was to big for gmail....

i'm lost bad.....lolz

Wow, lol. Are you rooting? you can download zip files straight from the net to your phone. Or you can hook your phone up to pc then transferring files. Download astro or some filemanger and youll be able to look at your sdcard and such.... Do you need a guide to get you started for rooting?

im trying to do manual froyo update w/o rooting

i have the directions but im trying to figure out how to get the zip file into astro in the first place...

Using your phone, nav to the link in the Rollout thread (stickied here in General Forum), click the .zip link, and it should d/l to your SD card. Use Astro to rename it to 'update' keeping the .zip extension intact, then boot into recovery and apply update.zip.

E:failed to open /sdcard/update.zip (No such file or directory)
E:signature verification failed
Installation aborted

Ah! You MUST also move the update.zip file to root of SDcard using Astro's Move function..I forgot this important step! :wacko:

one thing tho.....

i read the marketplace dumped the adobe app so i went adobe website and it says the same thing.....
