Once you decided on the rom.
Step 1: partition menu
step 2: plug droid into laptop/computer
step 3: Mount usb mass storage
step 4 put the rom update.zip on the root of your sd card (that means it does not go into any folders) if you have windows 7 just name it update
Step 5: apply update.zip
after doing that let me know if you get any errors or if the install was successful.
If successful you will wipe and reboot.

Oh just thought about how you can fix the issue. Do you have an sd card slot in your computer or laptop.

if so you can leave the phone plugged into the wall and add the files that way. I think you have a battery issue but either way we probably need to see if we can get clockwork off of your phone.

Ok did you install it from rom manager or using the update.zip

and did you actually have a clockwork folder on your sdcard.

You may now let go of X and are now ready to perform a Nandroid backup.

I know I am asking a bunch of questions but I want to get more info to think about a way to get you unrooted with out you being able to connect to your laptop.

on the post 41 which recovery image looks like yours. Please do not take offense. I need to make sure we are on the exact same page. Because If you installed it the long way I am trying to figure out how you got to clockwork recovery unless you had a previous mod using clockwork. And if you used a mod with clockwork before then we can use the recovery in that folder to fix your problem

If you have clockwork install you back up. If not and you have sprecovery (which judging by your op I think you have) then we can install the root update.zip file and get you back and running.

Let me know. I apologize for the buch of questions. But when you said you tried to make you own clockwork folder that made me wonder if you was actually running clockwork or you would not have to make a folder.
