I recently switched back to using aitype keyboard, when they overhauled the app with new features, themes, ui, etc. Since swipe is a new feature, I have loved using it. But I'm having a strange problem with it that the developers can't seem to figure out so I thought I'd throw it up here and see if anyone can help.
When I send a text message longer than 160 characters to my cousin who has a basic phone, it shows up as symbols, like some kind of code. I have seen this before on computers, like encrypted code, but not on phones from a text. I've uploaded a pic. It's blurry but you can still make it out. I have tested out every other keyboard I have, about 7 others, and they work just fine so it has to be something they did when they added new features. It's my favorite keyboard so I would really like to use it but I obviously can't since I text her about 50 times a day.
Anyone have ideas?
