Stored texts and data

Wondering where deleted texts and data are stored on my droid 3. How to find them. Is there any way to recover them.

I know that on windows, if you "delete" something the os doesn't really delete it. It marks it as ready for overwrite. You can find a program called "undelete", run it on your computer while you have your phone hooked up to it.
